As I understand it, most state ballots have only 'D' and "R' with no provision for write in position. If my state had had a write in I would have voted for Paul. He was the only candidate that made any sense. Obama is too controversial and McCain wasn't really trying. To me it looked like a set up to put Obama in irregardless of what the country needed. And as far as I'm concerned we still have no leader, but only a person that is on track to push his own agenda ahead. He has spent many millions and a lot of it on making himself historic. The money he wasted on the inauguration could have been better spent on healing our country's economic problem. The millions spent on his campaign could have built homes for the homeless. Our political system is as phony as a three dollar bill. They spend more to gain the office than they will be paid while in office. I fail to see any reason to it all. It is at best, fraud on the American people.

Well, this is a great question, that I had to think about.
The problem I've had where I live is, most people haven't heard of Ron Paul, hate politics, don't want to get involved, basically don't want to be educated about Constitutional stuff, or political stuff.
So, what I am doing is making copies of as much stuff as I can get from the net & handing it out to interested people.

We do have a retired school teacher in our meet-up group, and my fantasy is to start a small free political education center, that's open 7 days a week & manned by knowledgeable would be teachers, to attract anyone that is eligible to vote come Nov. 2008.
You could also sell {proceeds go to Ron Paul} Ron Paul memorbilia.

I think the most important thing is making sure as many people as possible hear his message. We can't expect to educate the entire american public on why exactly his views are so refreshingly gorgeous, but we can try our best to make sure everyone has heard of him.
here is a DIY site for Ron Paul PR:

Although, you may consider donating to his campaign too, for two reasons;
1) You know already that he will spend the money well
2) If he manages to rake in a lot of donations in the next quarter, that will give him a fair amount of publicity, and people like the douche above me won't brush him off as impossible.

I just sent $199, and my wife sent $199. I think I will do that every quarter. Bumper stickers, signs, t-shirts, stamps on money, etc, whatever to get his name out. Be courteous though.
If it's more than $2300, try emulating George Soros, for good, instead of evil. :)
