hey i used to have the same question b/c my backpack was always so full of books it would hurt my back. then i tried a tote bag b/c 1) they were so many cute styles 2) it lightened the load on my back 3) almost all girls had them so it was like a fashion statement. so i woiuld say totally. they are so helpful. plus if ur the first person to use it, u will start a trend i promise. go for it and totally rock your school and make all the other kids jealous. smiles.

Personally I found a Tote bag to be useless for school, especially the open top ones, things fall out, you have no real place to put pens, pencils and such.
I'd go with a normal backpack or a messenger bag. Much more effective and they don't get in the way like Tote's do.

I carry a makeup bag alongside with emergency makeup (no longer for touch ups, i do no longer touch up for the time of the day. that is for if I sleep in and run out of the residing house without makeup on.) I even have an emergency equipment with meds teeth brush etc for despite motives. I surely have fragrance and deoderant, merely in case. Keys, lotion, pens/pencils, calulator, planner, laptop, water bottle, wallet, and that i think of it is it haha OH AND MY telephone, yet yeah. BQs a million. Do you carry a handbag and a backpack / tote? I carry a handbag with me and carry it by way of out the day. I carry a tote to hold my books residing house and back yet I circulate away that for the time of my locker. 2. What grade / 12 months of faculty are you going into? i circulate to be a junior in extreme college. 3. Do you relatively like the bag you have or did you get it reason you have been on a funds? (i'm on a funds) I have been given it because of the fact i in my opinion like it, however the sewing on the straps is a splash jeuvenille so i became a splash dissapointed. I even have been given it however, because of the fact it became incredibly affordable. 4. the place do you shop on your back to college components? particularly objective. 5. the place have you ever offered the backpacks / totes or whatver you have used the previous few years? same place because of the fact the components? objective, American Eagle, Hollister, and place of work Max. 6. Do you get new bag each and every 12 months? Yep, because of the fact my tote straps constantly smash. 7. could you place links as much as yoru bag or ones you like? : D I completely would, yet i'm some distance too lazy.

Not to me, I have a bag similar to a tote and it's great! Just make sure it is big enough and don't overload - maybe carry some of the text books. They should be made of a very durable fabric and the seams should be even and tight. Good luck

A tote with everything in would be too 'lopsided to carry for very long- you really need the weight distributed more evenly --such as a back.pack.
A tote wouldn't be too bad for carring things from your locker to one or more classes. but not for walking and carrying a heavy load for long periods.

well since you have a locker, I think a tote bag would be fine! I'm going to use a tote bag, and I don't even get a locker......... so, noo I don't think they're too heavy

Try a tote bag when you have less books. A backpack when you have more.
