Already answered and correct:Briton Hill,Florida.I visited this mountain years ago and came down with the bends. My skis became caught in the snow,I developed a nose bleed,I suffered from oxygen deprivation. It was worse than Space Mountain at Disney. It was determined the bends were a result of a trip to Sea World, oxygen deprivation from reading about Mt.Mitchell in National Geographic.I since have equipped my car with snow tires and oxygen. My Dr.says I have only another 6,400 feet in acclimation to visit your beautiful state.Unfortunately a plane reaches 25,000 ft. plus.Well,I have to change oxygen tanks,it's102 degrees here and I'm going to turn on the air.

In Colorado, it's Mt. Elbert 14,440 feet above sea level.
I have not climbed to the top, but I have climbed a very small part up Mt. Elbert. It's pretty.
