Well, he does take advantage of my kindness, I take his mother shopping and he really doesn't want to and you would think that he would be real thankful since it is an all day thing and when I ask for some gas money he says ask my mother.
Sometimes I wonder if being nice is really a ggod thing because it gets me nowhere but broke and his mother is a paranoid schitzophrenic with delusions and never offers me a cent for gas but has no problem asking me to go to another store. Just so she can buy it and then throw it away without ever asking me if I would like it. I feel used by the whole family. Boy sorry for venting so much. My best to you.

Well I am not married as yet but if I get married to my boyfriend the only thing he won't do is cooking..cause he doesn't know how to cook(well that's what he said..lol). Other than that...I don't think he'll take any advantage of me. My father, however, never used to help my mother out in the house. All he does is work..that's it for him. So I guess he was taking advatage of my mom there. She had to cook, clean, wash and do everything...she even go to work...some men are like that, not all of them though.

Spouses never take advantage. they do things to each other feel good. my husband makes breakfast for me every morning and i make dinner for him every other day. If I don't want to do anything he will do it. And if he is tired then I will do it. Honey you are doing it for love. I like doing things for him. It makes him happy I can see the happiness on his face when I do something for him. Same as he do it for me. And he admires me. He told everyone at work that my wife do this for me, do that for me. These are little things that makes places in the heart.

Y'all should talk to your spouse about it instead of whining on the internet. Marriage is a give and take.

the only time that they start to take advantage of one is when one lets them self, its okay once in a while but when it gets more often and you stay quiet they assume its fine.

Those are things you should expect in a marriage. If you didn't want problems you shouldn't have gotten married in the first place.

He takes my kindness for weakness. He thinks that because I don't say anything it's alright
