Spray on some degreaser, allow it to soak in, then pressure wash it off at an angle, being careful not to blow out sand between bricks. :-)

Contractors use muratic acid ot clean bricks. If that is a little too industrial for you, then you can buy concrete cleaner solution at home improvement stores. If you have a pressure washer, you are all set. That'll get it done.

Powerwashing after an application of high quality degreaser is the best way to go.

If not, apply a high quality degreaser or TSP, let it set for half an hour, then use you hose nozzle to spray it off.

Good luck.

You could go to Menards, Lowes, or Home Depot. They have concrete or cement cleaners there, and maybe one of the associates could help you answer any other questions about this.
