No it's not hard to learn to dance it. 5 lessons if they are any good are supposed to teach you some basic salsa, you should be able to dance to music afther 5 lessons. But it will take much longer to get really good at it. You will catch up to your girlfriend's level eventually if you keep working on it.

Salsa dancing isn't as person-friendly as some people think of to verify once you get into the progressed stuff, although that's by using no potential impossible. a reliable organic rhythm helps with any dance, and that's many times a reliable element to savor the song your dancing to. This ingredient is often ignored, yet do a sprint prognosis, watch some clips, and ascertain what sort of salsa you will possibly choose to verify the main. (definite, there are varieties.) the two basic ones are on1 and on2. i honestly choose long island on2 (mambo), yet you ought to not. it ought to take some artwork, yet you're able to be waiting to verify it.

The basic figures are simple. It can take hundreds of hours of instruction to perfect your technique, but five lessons should get you on the dance floor with a reasonable level of confidence.
