i say Freddy adu. he doesnt know team work. only cares about money and himself

if u ask anyone who says beckham suckask weather they played the game of football, if they play for a club, if they are passioned about the game like European and s. American footballers/fans. i bet most of them will say no. mate, all throughout becks career he's been criticized for his hair when he was a young footballer, to getting a red card against Argentina (not to mention he was a young lad back then and he was the center of English football.) what many Americans do not understand is that footballers play for passion not for fame and money like most American athletes. i admit, he's not a great skilled footballer like ronaldo or ronaldinho etc. but he is a professional athlete. he was
dropped from england squad and real Madrid squad, and he didn't complain or talk bad things about the coach once, NOT ONCE!!!! he kept his mouth shut and worked on his game to get back to the pitch and now he's again the hero or Madrid and England. becks has gotten alot of criticism over the years, but he proved all of them wrong.
for example, if you look at the 2006 world cup every goal was assisted and scored by becks. but he was still becks fault for world cup campaign failure. i mean this is a great man, a English football legend. beckham came to galaxy not cuz of money, he thought his career was coming to a end after the drop from the squad. he has a great gift in crosses, corners and free kicks, and long passes which i must say that there are not alot of footballers out there that can do all those perfectly.

saying that, i dont think becks will play good in MLS. beckham isnt a goal scorer, he makes great passes which leads to goals. from wat i've seen from MLS, most players just cant seem to finish great chances. if becks makes a great cross and donavan cant score wats the point of him being there. and the stupid coach of galaxy want him to play center midfield. he's a right midfielder all his life. that wont help him alot

not to mention after his signing in mls, mls games are shown in england the whole world knows what mls is. they make more money then there're giving him. mls will get more money which will let them expand, wat pele and others never able to do.

I would say Cristiano's team-mate, Wayne Rooney. People hail him as England's savior, and he's not consistent at all. Michael Owen is a better striker. Rooney has a good game every 3-4 matches. Rooney is horrible in big games like the World Cup or Champions League matches where his team desparately needs a goal.

Xabi Alonso. OK, he's a very good player but the way Kopites tell it he's the greatest player to ever walk the planet. I just don't think he's up there with Gerrard, Ronaldinho, Messi, Riquelme et al.
Plus, he's got one of the worst haircuts I've ever seen.

I'd say both Ballack and Shevchenko. Chelsea spent a whole lot of money on them and were totally convinced that they significantly strengthened their team by signing them, but in the end the two players were nothing more than complete disappointments.

ronaldhino-every time he's on tv he plays a stinker of a game, sometimes it looks like he cant be bovvered to chase the ball and waits for the ball to come to him;however he does have a great technique from free kicks but thats not a saving grace he should be good all over the pitch for the amount of money he is worth

ronaldo, overrated? ur funny, im splitting my sides! nice attempt, but i dont think anyone agrees with u mate, only ones who support opposing teams and therefore cannot fairly judge. Also, dont think i dont give other team players credit where it is due, i know what players are good and praise them regardless of the team they play for.
