Raiden from mortal kombat or Phoenix from X-men in a fight?

The Phoenix! Because she is the guardian of the Star of.... something (I don't remember what it is called!), and is very powerfully. She can’t even die. Plus with Jean's powers, she is virtually unstoppable.
The movie got it wrong! Phoenix is not evil!

I'd have to say Raiden (for one I'm hoping that you are like your sister and he is your favorite character) and two because he is a demi-god, and in the second movie he became a full god, so I don't think that a parasite from outer space (that is the original Phoenix, not that stupid thing they did in the movie).

Raiden. Any character that fights against evil is okay in my book should triumph over an unoriginal rehashed character.
