Think happy thoughts!

Practise , practise & practise some more.

A smile is so much easier than being miserable & remember :

1. Other people are attracted by people that look happy and carefree - think of the pulling power
2. A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks.
3. A smile is the universal welcome
4. Be lazy - It takes seventeen muscles to smile and forty-three to frown
5. A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you're at home.

Today, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day. ~Quoted in P.S. I Love You, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Actually, if you smile more you will be happier. It is an odd truth, but it IS true. But your question was how, wasn't it. If you work at a desk, place a small mirror where you can see yourself easily, every time you catch sight of yourself, it will remind you to smile. When you speak on the phone, smile as you speak. The person on the other end of the line will be able to "hear" you smiling. (Another strange truth). Before long you will be happier, and smiling all the time.

Read this; guaranteed to make you smile:

Smiling is infectious,
You catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner,
And someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile
then I realized its worth,
A single smile, just like mine
could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!

You don't "learn" to smile. You're born to smile. Have someone smile at you and I'm sure you'll more likely smile back. :)

Its hard to smile living in the world as it is but be like me and don't worry too much, enjoy your life and smile at someone and more often than not they will smile back at you. Don't smile like you're a nutter though! lol

A true smile comes from your heart not your face.

Change the way you see things, every cloud has a silver lining.

read a joke everyday, think about all your wonderful bessings, think about a cute guy/girl/boyfriend/girlfriend. Pretend you have a secret and you don't want anyone to know, or help someone.

I think it better to have something to smile about than have a fake smile.

Just convince yourself that putting on a happy face is more important than how you really feel. Like on a first date or a job interview.
