Nevaeh, in addition to having no real meaning or standard pronunciation it is quickly garnering a reputation as being a ... adult entertainment name. This is because it is somewhat sappy - sappy names (Honey, Heaven, Baby, Butterfly, etc) are often used as stage names. If you really love the name then hold on to it ... but wait a few years. If it keeps getting more popular, then eventually the stereotype that goes with it should die down (hopefully). It won't be unique to your daughter at any rate... the name is insanely popular and is getting more popular each year.

Marie is a lovely name, but it's what etymologists call a "filler name". see my sources for an informative article.

A little more about Nevaeh: It's creator is cited as being a friend of singer Sonny Sandoval ... his wife wanted to name their daughter Heaven and he hated it ... so a female friend of his suggested changing the spelling or reversing it. They named their daughter Nevaeh and were featured on cribs in 2000. The name was in the top 1000 names given to girls in 2001.

I think that is a very pretty name. I worked with a girl a couple years ago who named here baby nevaeh. as for the the middle name being marie i love it. If you name your baby nevaeh marie, i think that would be a wonderful name.

Nevaeh Marie sounds nice when you say it, but Nevaeh is getting popular and Marie is a very common middle name. Imagine another Nevaeh Marie at her school! Name her whatever you want, but I would suggest maybe changing the middle name.

I think that Nevaeh is becoming too common, it started out really unique but now everyone is using the name. I think the name is pretty, but imagine when the teacher does roll call in the 1st grade and she calls out 4 different Nevaeh's. Its pretty, but I would want my child to have a name that not everybody else is going to have. GL

I am sorry, I do not like nevaeh. I would not name a child this. I like Celia Marie, that means heaven, so does the one below
Aracelia Marie
Uraina Marie

I would try something other than Marie for a middle name...soo many people use marie as a middle name, it's a bit over done. The first name is original so maybe try something more original? As i side note I wouldn't use Elizabeth as a middle name either...also very overdone.

I like the idea of a unique name. My youngest daughter is named "Trillium". While I didn't invent it (it's an unusual flower), I have to say that she's the only one in her school to have that name. (I think she's the only "Trillium" in the whole school district too!).

Just be ready to explain the spelling and pronunciation of it over and over again! And if I were pronouncing it, I'd say 'neh-VAY-ah', just so you get one person's input on that.

It is an interesting name, but how do you truley pronunce it and would you want your child to feel embaressed about it later on in life you knoew.. I know some one who named their little boy Beau Hunter. Now think about it.
The middle name is very common. I personally do not like marie because it is such a come middle name.
My true opinon-it's interseting. But if you want an intresting name, I would go with something different.

well I am not so sure about the first name cause no offense it kind of doesn't make any sense. But it's okay. I love the middle name. For a first name think of something like Katharine or something that's a classical name. If you don't like classical, then take a classical name like Renee and turn it into something like Shanay or spell it differently. Hope I helped

I think that it's a cute idea for a name, and I like how it sounds. It's extremely unique, which is great. Just don't forget about how other kids might react when she gets into school, and might make fun of her(Just something to take into consideration, I wouldn't worry too much about it). But I say go for it, I love it!
