AIM! Why aren't you using AIM? It's the most widely used thing to IM people and to email as well.

Mail = hotmail / gmail...etc
IM = msn messenger, or there is one that does a load of IM's, tho i cant remember its name, sorry

For both, i use Hotmail + MSN
