I think that the concept of the metric system is missing from your thinking. The beauty of the metric system is that it is based upon the number ten. In latin "centi" meant 1/100 while "milli" meant 1/1000 ("deci" means 1/10). Can you figure it out now, all by yourself?

One tenth, or 0.1.

There are ten millimeters in every centimeter.

There are 100 centimeters in every meter.

Centi means 100th and milli means 1000th (of a meter).

All are si units, the modern form of the metric system and are very prevalent in both commerce and science. "Si" is an abbreviated form of 'Le Système international d'unités', and it (the system) was developed in 1960.

Wish I had the internet when I was younger and in school. Then I could get the answers to all my homework without having to work at it or without having to know how to look anything up or understand anything about the principles of science and mathematics. All you "doers of others homework" out there in cyberspace -- WAY TO GO!!

0,1 is the answer.
Do you know the Metric System is the most advanced one to measure anything.? It changes in multiple or submultiples of 10 and that is the reason to understand it so easy, you don't have to memorize arbitrary old forms to measure, just learn that in metric everything changes 10 by 10, linear, area or volume, everything is divided or multiplied by the great NUMBER 10.
