i have quicktime on mac?

when i play a video.......i just hear the sound but no picture???
help please...

VLC media player is a godsend. it has won awards and will play almost any file you have. also has great stuff like de interlacing and conversions. all for the convenient price of nothing

I use VLC Media Player for Mac.
I prefer it to quicktime (and I think that Window Media Player for Mac is not supported anymore).

Try Windows Media Player.
