does anyone know a site where i can take free classes on being a better poet and do anyone know a site where i can submit poetry and get comments from other people?

Well, you can write poems and post them here...and in so doing, get free critique from some pretty experienced poets (along with some praise from others). If you want to "study poetry", I'd suggest you save some money and use it to buy the same books they'll probably use in college...like these:
