Hello; If you have a Dell system, try going to http://support.dell.com look for the links to your system, and try to find your own answers off the FAQ list. There should also be a link to chat with a person "live" online... lastly, Dell has toll free numbers for support, but I have never heard of anyone emailing Dell, and expecting to recieve an answer... how would you know what email to send? Where does it go? who is it to?
I've owned five Dells in my life, and I've never had a problem with contacting them on the phone.
I hope this helps;
Marcos

In my experience Dell offer free HARDWARE support during the guarantee period but no direct free software support, just the odd upgrade or FAQ answer. For hardware problems I think telephone support is best.
Otherwise you can get more support but only at a very high price.

Hi! Please try this telephone number: 1-800-624-9896 Dell Tech Support -- their open 24/7. I've called them two times this week (I've ordered a refurbished computer from the Dell Outlet that will be in a couple of days). I wish you well!

Dell do respond to e-mails. I have one from last year in which the engineer for DELL e-mailed me through a Company called ADVENTNET. Also one of the answers has given you the telephone number. Finally you can always have your problem fixed through this site.

Why don't you ask DELL? Better yet file a claim in your local court against DELL. You are asking a help group here to answer for DELL's short comings.
