Is it possible to ovulate w/out the cervical fluids. I have the pains of ovulation but I keep waiting for the cervical fluids. My ovulation period is over and I never experienced the fluids which I have in the past...what does this mean? Am I not ovulating? Could I already be pregnant?

I don't think that it is always as evident as people say it is. So, you might not notice it, but if you try for a year and aren't pregnant or if you don't get normal periods, you should go to the doctor.

YES this is possible. Some women just do not create a lot of cervical mucus. U probably R not pregnant due to the fact that when U R pregnant U begin to have lots of cervical fluid, secretions ( Ur body is changing). U might want to look N 2 a way for U body to create the fluids or make fluids present while TTC because w/out healthy cervical fluids becoming pregnant my be difficult. Hostile fluids kill sperm N lack of fluids will not allow sperm to live as long as they could. Try lubes like Preseed or Slippery Stuff 4 starters ... these lubes are sperm friendly N will make sex funner *wink* Also U could get into the Robitussin thing but it just becomes stressful. Relax N just do a little research, everything will B fine, I'm pretty sure U R healthy n fine - Best of Luck N Baby Dust!

Try an ovulation predictor test... they are fairly inexpensive.. around 15$ for 7 sticks.. Use an online tool such as www.mymonthlycycles.com to aid in tracking your menstrual cycles and ovulation due date. It's free online!! To answer your question about cervical fluids.. it is possible to ovulate without the fluids.. I assume you mean "discharge" that is associated with ovulation... track your temp also... this will also give you a clear indication of ovulation.. but temp taking has to be every time you wake up.. and around the same time.. taken BEFORE getting out of bed...Good luck.. and lots of baby dust to you. :)

I have never seen the fertile CM that you are supposed to have around ovulation yet had no problem conceiving either pregnancy. I used ovulation predictor tests to let me know when I ovulated, as well as tracked my temperature.
