I've never given it much thought but I get tired of people making Bill Clinton jokes to me. Clinton what do you think of that name? Should I go by Clint instead? thanks Clint(on)

Hey I think that Clinton is an okay name. I think you should ignore the people that make jokes because it is totally lame. If you can't help taking the jokes hard then, sure, go by Clint. I think that Clint is a cute name.

I like Clint personally. I dated a man name Clint and I loved it. Clinton seems very proper.

I think both names sound fine. I did not think of Bill Clinton when I first saw your name. Clint is a very "college guy" type name though. It all depends on what you like.

My former uncle-in-law and his father were both named Clinton (Jr/Sr). The old man was called Clint and the uncle was Cal.
If people are so immature as to have the insatiable urge to call you Bill, just look them in the eye and say, "I'm sorry, you misunderstood. My name isn't BILL, it's ______ (Clinton/Clint/Cal/etc)" and leave it at that.
People sometimes just need to be told they're being jerks without actually saying out loud.

Clint?...ugh...I'd stick with Clinton...or C-Dog...anything but Clint. Unless you want to be refered to as Clint Black.
I think of the show Dallas for some reason when I hear that name.

Go with clinton, it is way better. Also clint sounds like clit which is a nick name for a girls part so stay with clinton. There have been others beside clinton with that name.

I like Clinton a lot. I honestly didn't think about Bill Clinton til you said that. I'd stick with that name, don't shorten it to Clint.

Clint is better but it depends if you went your whole life by Clinton why change it now, its a part of you, and its really not that bad!
