No -- because that states that the indiviual is choosing to wear blinders to common sense. To think that the entire human race came from 2 people who were made of dirt is far mor ridiculous than anything any group of scientists have ever theorized.
The fact is bible thumpers are terrified of progress of any kind. Mainly because as people open their eyes to reality they drift away from religion.
There is nothing wrong with faith, but to make all decisions in life based on a book that was written by men over 2000 years ago is assinine. These people didn't even understand that the Earth was round or why the sun rises and sets.
As Ben Franklin once wrote:
Did God create man, or is it more likely that man created God?

I wouldnt vote for someone if they did believe in evolution. The man would came up with the theory (Darwin) became a Christian right before he died,a nd disproved all of his theories. We didnt come from apes, and I'm not an ignorant person like what's his face called us. I believe in the BIG BANG Theory----you know...."And God created man and BANG!!!!! man was created"
Most of our constitution is based on Biblical principles, it's just been distorted over the years by corrupt politicians. I'd rather believe in something that the Almighty Creator came up with, rather than simple man-made ideas and theories.
This is actually a great question. Evolution is not a wide spoken topic that people talk about. I respectfully disagree with those who said they would never vote for a candidate who believed in creeation. i urge you to look up the information about the Creation museum that was just recently opened in Cincinnati, Ohio. Its got a lot of interesting information about creation vs evolution. You dont have to believe it, but at least check it out....

No. If they are dumb enough to believe in evolution, I sure as heck don't want them running the country. That would also be a good sign they are liberal and I wouldn't vote vote for a lib. If you don't believe that the earth was created by the Almight God, you can take that up with Him. I'm sure He would be able to fill you in on the details.

Maybe, but not likely. There are a lot of other issues that matter a heck of a lot more than evolution, and it is not like candidates who DO believe in evolution are going to be fault-free. But I would venture to guess that most people who do not believe in evolution are generally pretty ignorant people. Ignorance is not one of the things I am looking for in a President.

I would vote for someone who's platform isnt religiously based. Its fine for the elected politician to practice his religion but he should keep it out of government. To me it doesnt matter what that policician believed.
But stop and look, Christianity and its commandments are basically the foundation of our constitution and common law.

I would only vote for someone that believes we were created. And I will take it even further to say that I would only vote for someone that has accepted the Lord Jesus as their personal savior and is it afraid to declare it to the world.
Yours in Christ,

what does it matter? if they are well qualified who cares what they believe about creation. I dont care if they believe the world is being held up by four elephants standing on the back of a turtle who flies through space. As long as they are qualified and have a strong character.
