In mid September the weather here is still hot during the day but the nights are some what cooler. Everyone is going to tell you about the traditional things to do but I didn't read all of the responses so I am not sure but I didn't see anything about going to a World champion Basket ball game with the Spurs, a lot of fun. The World Champion Skeet shooting takes place in San Antonio. I was thinking that it would be in Sept but I was wrong it is the 12 to the 20th of Oct, however there is a warm up if you would care to go it is on the 28-30 of Sept at San Antonio Gun Club. I have no idea where you are from but San Antonio is in the central zone and it is dove season, if it is a little bit later in September it also is dove season south of San Antonio but that is just south of San Antonio. There is also a chance that you can still catch a Missions base ball game. This is in addition the the normal things tha folks do when they come to town, Like the Alamo, river walk, River Walk Mall, Botanical gardens, tower of the Americas, Texas cultural center, Ripley's Believe It or Not, The trolley tours, The cruse on the barges that go up and down the river, There is also the horse drawn carriages that will take you around the city. The missions are great to visit and the Mission's trail is neat also. Sea World and Six Flags will still be operating then. Welcome to San Antonio bring a camera and have a good time, .... and come on back

You could go to Sea World or Fiesta Texas. Both places are fun if you like amusement parks. Go by the Alamo plus there's a Ripley's believe it or not down the street from the Alamo it looks fun. Never been to that but it looked cool from outside. Well I'm not sure if I helped but that's some things I would do if i went back to San Antonio, TX. have fun.

San Antonio has some interesting interesting neighborhoods. The Dallas Morning News online edition has a great special feature on the River Walk, but after the River Walk, my favorite area in San Antonio is the King William district. This neighborhood is full of stately historic mansions, shady trees, and charming homes. Rosario’s Mexican Café and the Guenther House are located in the King William area. Everyone should have breakfast at the Guenther House at least once in their lifetime. Leave your diet at the door. Also located in the King William area is the Blue Star Arts Complex. The Blue Star Arts Complex used to be an old warehouse that has been converted to shops, galleries, a microbrewery, and artist studios. Another unforgettable area is La Villita. This was the first neighborhood in San Antonio . La Villita is now an artist community filled with many mesmerizing shops and studios. La Villita is located on the San Antonio River Walk. Another worthwhile location to visit is El Mercado. El Mercado is the largest Mexican marketplace outside of Mexico. In addition to its huge marketplace, El Mercado also has the Alameda Theater, restaurants, and the Museo Alameda, the largest Latino Museum in the nation and part of the Smithsonian Institute. Finally, have lunch and a stroll in Alamo Heights if you have some time before leaving San Antonio . Alamo Heights is full of distinctive homes, great shopping, superb restaurants, and lots of charm.
