Here we go...The Damn family was started by Papa Damn (the original Damn). I am the wife, so I cahnged my name also. A close group of us then decided to change our names. It has gotten a bit out of cotrol. People are changing their names, and we don't even know who they are.
We have accepted the people who know us, and who have had the decency to ask with open arms. We are a group of people who have fun, and do not start trouble. If you do not know any of us, I would say no to joining. many people want to join, and don't even know why.

We are the Damn family and the only ones that can join are the ones that want to damn the trolls on here, and have a damn good time with us. lol

To answer your q about joining, you must first petition Papa Damn who will put your acceptance up for vote a la poll style amongst the rest of the family. Majority rules as to who is let in at this point.
It's not that we think ourselves so cool we decide who's in and who's not because we want to be mean, it's more of a security measure. Once you're in you are a friend, and most of us have had to make our networks private do to trolling. If we accepted just anybody, than trolls could pose and just try to get to our Q&A to report. It sucks, but when people stop going around targeting top contributors and anyone else that gets a little more attention than others, maybe that could change. Until then, there's a tight screening process.

It is a good group who have fun on y/a. I am not important enough to be one so I am one of the undamned. You can join me if you want. I still play with the damned when I can so it's still fun.
The main rule is you are not allowed to be mean or report people for no reason. Why people report anyone for any reason is beyond me. It's all a bunch of words...Hasn't anyone ever heard of "Sticks and Stones?"

I've been damned and was welcomed with open arms!!!! I love the damns!!! I'll be part of them anyday! I was dammitty now I'm just plain itty so other users remember who I am..I'll be a damn every other day... :D
