I am a primary school teacher teaching a Reception class.
I have 5 groups of children and like to give each group a name on a particular theme:
e.g. jungle animals - parrots, giraffes, lions, monkeys and elephants.
I have come up with a few ideas but not 100% happy with them - any suggestions?

A teacher I know has used the Houses from Harry Potter.
Choose from children's own experience - what sort of area do u live in? Countryside= farm animals, wildlife. Urban= garden plants, vehiucles even? Hope this helps.
