o.k well...somone wants to check my computer to see if somone has been using it...and i dont want them to find out so if i were to switch the tower with another but still plug everything in would all my files still show up?

no i dont need the files im just going to switch the towers for the person to cme look and "see" that the person "wasn't" using my comp...but eventually im going to put the original tower back

I don't really understand your question. How will/can someone check your computer to see if someone is using it? If you switch it to another computer, that computer will still look like it was used because of the applications on it. I don't fully understand your question, so I can't fully answer it.

I don't understand your question. All your files are stored on the hard disk. If you change computers completely, you will need the old hard disk to retain your files.
