What we Americans need to understand is that some people only act civil out of fear of punishment. This was the case of the Iraqis from 1979 to 2003 (Saddam). Look how well behaved they were then. What we need to do is give Iraq a strong leader to force the Iraqis to act civil. Under this new govn't; stealing, rape, murder, or threats against the new govn't shall result in public beheadings or severe lashings. It is cruel, but it is the only language these people understand. Put these policies in effect and lets see how long the insurgents last when they see their comrads get decapitated in public.

Well they have a high percentage of hot blooded young Arabs who are unemployed, poor, angry and have weapons. How's the Iraqi government doing in taking care of its country and people? That's right, they're taking a month off while the fighting continues. None of this was going on in Iraq when Saddam was in control, he was the only terrorist and nobody dare try to disobey him. Boy we sure have made a ton of progress for Iraq and its people. Their cities and towns are war zones, death is around the corner everywhere and most of the time there is no electricity and now water shortages, we did just great by rolling our military into Baghdad to get Saddam. I can't understand why they are not happy with our efforts? We messed-up big time, we got us another Vietnam goin'.

Niceguy--you understand you are a racist, right? All Iraqis are now insurgents according to your logic. What would a "threat" toward the government in Iraq amount to...criticizing it?

Iraqis didn't act civil during Saddam's reign just because of fear. You might not realize this (because your statements show how "uncivil" you are) but most people act civil out of common decency. It tends to be governments that that act without civility.

By the way, have you researched the history of the leaders of the Iraqi government? Do so, and let us know how civil these folks have been. Why would average Iraqis trust them?

sure we did get solutions. the whole international community theory Hussein had WMD to incorporate the Clinton administration. It wasn't merely our intelligence. Why do no longer you study some thing from a competent source instead of pay attention for some thing on your leftist information that may not in any respect, ever be reported to you. in case you opt to be cautioned, you will could do your guy or woman study. Our media is not any longer informative, purely persuasive. How unhappy for our u . s . a .. Benghazi became a finished fabrication and would have even been set up via our own government. Retired admirals say that the ambassador became meant to be abducted, then traded for the Blind Shiek who became the mastermind of 9-11 yet issues went horribly incorrect. in case you seem at video of the riots that happened on 9-11-12 in different international places, you will see pictures of the sheik and Al Qaeda flags. None of it became concerning the infamous video. None of it. Bush and Western u . s . a . allies made a mistake. Benghazi became a diverse tale. This administration won't enable our representatives to have get entry to to question any of the survivors for questioning. Why?

It's a little late for that. Believe me, if they could find the insurgents and get rid of them they would, but who would root them out? To the American soldier, the citizen buying a loaf of bread looks the same as an insurgent, and you won't know the difference until it's too late (i.e. kaboom)

Stop promoting a dictator. That's foolish and uncivilized.

Have you forgotten what a horrible man Saddam was?

Wow... if we do that, then please explain why we took Saddam out of power in the first place?

We went to war to remove an evil dictator who did all of the things you just described. I don't begin to know the answers to Iraq, but I know this... what you are suggesting ain't it!

I don't think so. It would only show that such behaviors are okay. Not to mention it makes us look bad because we would be perceived as teaching them such things. That, and the leader of such a country would probably be indicted for human rights violations.

Just my $0.10.

Cheers!!

We should let them work their own problems out.

Iraq is not the country that has treated and still treats it's people horribly. There are people being starved in Africa because they have a different skin color and yet, we don't invade them. I wonder why not. Since it is obviously our job to force people to live the way we see fit.

It was not our job to give them a flippin thing to begin with! And it isn't now either! Whether they choose to be a civil society or not is on them.
