Multiplying Variables?

This is probably elementary, but… If I need to find the value of X after 2 external variables increase it by 29% and 50% respectively. Is the formula simply X(1.29)(1.5)=Y?

if you are also finding "y" remember to add back the original amount (x) to the amount of increase
