when I reinstalled windows xp I lost it and I treid everything i know.To try and reinstal iit. I have a Gate way laptop and it came with a wireless card but know it is not working.Or how do I if i have to take it out and put it back in, if so what does it look like.. Please Help I frive for a living and it would really be awesome to pick up a Wi_Fi signal again

Install the drivers for your wireless card. If you don't have the CD that came with the card, you can download them on another computer and transfer them to your laptop with a flash drive.

after reinstalling windows you need to reinstall all the drivers for your machine, you should either have them on disc or go to the manufacturers web site and look under support for downloads and drivers

Windows has been known to de-active wireless cards
