I used one for quite a while and it seemed to hold up well the only problem was the 25 foot hose it came with and the spray handle, but they were readily replaceable. The actual gasoline engine and pump did well considering I used the machine in a commercial application. I would stay away from electric types and any model with a plastic pump, simply because I have been there and they failed.

I bought a 1500 psi electric unit to clean my sister's driveway and sidewalks, deck and siding of 3 years of mold, mildew and leaf stains---it worked very well and had no trouble with it. Then I sold it for 40.00 less than I paid so it was a good deal cheaper than renting for all the work I did with it. I would recommend them for light duty work as that's all I've used them for.

Parts are very hard to come by in some parts of the united states...have to resort to calling shops around the country just because the city or county decided to save money...guess what?..didn't save them any money...I had to charge not just for the parts..but for the long distance phone calls as well...be careful...always make sure that you are able to get parts...
