Yeah, it does sound like HA, like in hat. It's a beautiful name.

Yes, the first syllable" Ja" will be pronounced like "Ha" as in Happy.

I think it would because J makes the H sound in spanish. E makes an AY sound so your pronounciation would appear to be correct.
