Never. While your question is commendable, it really is fantasy. For wars to end there requires major modifications to our priority. That won't happen. We live in a world with 2 major political systems = capitalism and socialism. Infused with 5 major religious systems.
Capitalism and democracy are the bastard children of freedom. Socialism is equal opportunity poverty straight across the board.

Competition for resources. The animals that are smart and strong enough to secure territory, food, and water carry on their genes. The gene lines that cannot successfully compete perish. Put simply, it won't. Politicians have used it as a tool fix the problem of them being stubborn. If they don't have it, they want it, and if they aren't given it then they will take it with war. I think war will untimately destroy and annihilate our civilization. They dont think of the consequences until it is too late (like global warming, they know its happening so they are makeing more coal factories). It just doesn't make sense.
