Your skin does stretch a lot when you're pregnant, but it happens so gradually that you would never rip or tear because of it. Human skin is very elastic. The only side effects from all that stretching will be some itching and maybe some faint marks on your skin.
Some women, when there is a difficulty getting the baby out during birth, have what is called an "episiotomy." The doctor or midwife makes a very small cut in the perineum (NOT the vagina) which allows the baby to be born more easily. But if they have to do the cut, they will completely numb the area and you won't feel anything. After you go home with the baby it will be sore for a while and heal in just a few weeks.

You won't believe how much your skin can stretch until you are pregnant. Be sure that you keep in moisturized though to help with itchiness.
As to the second, there are still times when the doctor does have to make a small cut, an episiotomy, on the perineum, the skin between the vagina and rectum. It is not used as much nowadays though because doctors know it's not always necessary.

FIRST ... calm down and get a pregnancy test. You sound rather young.
Second.... your belly will not RIP or BURST, but the smaller and firmer you are, the more stretch marks you will probably have.
Third.... What you are talking about is an Episiotomy, and the doctor numbs the area before he makes the cut. It is much less painful and easier to repair than if you were to tear. I tore with my first, and had small episiotomies with my second and third. I did not even notice the Doctor was doing them.

Before you stress over all of this, you need to find out if you are actually pregnant. Once you determine that you should talk to your doctor about all of your questions and concerns.
As the baby grows, your stomach will grow, it will not rip. A woman's body is made to carry a baby. To answer your second question, when you actually go to have the baby, they do have to cut you sometimes, but they do numb your, so you do not feel the pain.

No your skin will not rip open. Our skin is tough enough to withstand the stretching of tummy during pregnancy. and the only time they will cut your vagina is for an episiotomy so that it will stretch enough for baby to come out. sometimes if they don't cut then it will tear and in my experience i would rather be cut then to tear. don't worry Hun its all natural. good luck.

First of all, your skin stretches as much as it needs to accomodate the baby.
Second, yes some doctors do an episiotomy. It is much easier to stitch up a clean cut than a tear.

The skin is actually very very very elastic. It cannot rip during pregnancy or delivery. And they don't cut your vagina to make it wider. the vagina itself it VERY elastic as well. It's the cervix that has to widen, but it widens with each contraction.

its safer to let it tear naturally it heals quicker, and most dr.'s recommend letting it tear on its own then getting cut, your stomach won't rip, thats why it stretches, make sure you are on pain meds if you tear- i had an epidural, but you still feel the tugging of the dr. stitching it back
