ME!!!
It's long due for a revival!
However, prog is not instantly accessible to most people, ie you need to play the album several times before it grows on you. Most people these days just can't be bothered to listen to a track more than once. As you know, there's a lot of pee taking these days with references to long hair and strange clothes (eg Rick Wakeman). There aren't many musicians around who have the talent or classical training to play it either. It's still very popular in Europe, as they're much more appreciative of good music there. But remember; quality never goes out of style and a lot of these songs stand the test of time and still sound as sweet as ever to me!

I don't think it gets any better than Pink Floyd, but Porcupine Tree is a very talented band who as my brother tells me, sells more and more records with each new release. I just saw recently on blabbermouth.net that Comfortably Numb was rated the number one guitar solo by some rock magazine. Great stuff, long live prog rock.

All of the ones already mentioned but what about, Yes, King Crimson, Jeanne Michel Jarre, Argent and Focus.
No shame no closet for such talent you have to be a discerning listener to appreciate this genre - I should know I am a guitarist, What about later stuff like that band of Enya's - can't remember their name but they must fit in here and Marillion.

Prog Rock Rules I couldn't live without my Yes Asia Genesis or King Crimson! A person is entitled to love what they love and if nobody else likes it to hail with em!

Jethro Tull! Jethro Tull! Jethro Tull!

and Pink Floyd too!

I never actually realised either of them were Prog Rock, but it doesn't change how much I love them!

I love so many genres of music ~ I'm not ashamed to admit to any of them.

None of us are in the closet.
We're prog heads and proud of it! Why should we be embarrassed about listening to the best genre of music?
ELP all the way man!
