I don't ..I believe that they respond to good care..like any other being...If a flower grows and blooms because you took proper careof it...does it love you?Is it happy?..How do you feel about this?

Dogs have no soul and are NOT human...Perhaps humans just WANT the dog to have a personality..so it does.

Certainly they have personalities. I have 2 different dogs, cared for the same way and both have very different personalities, just as different as my children's personalities.... oh and cats have personalities too in case you're interested.

How can you be certain animals do not have souls? Because some two-bit creep in a three piece suit with a $4 Bible says so?
Dogs, like any animal, has a personality.
Some animals are easy to get along with; others are vicious as the day is long.
Now, if you wish to believe that we, as human, place human attributes on animals, fine. But do not express opinion as fact.

Flowers are not happy and they are not an animal. Well, actually let me rethink that. I have some flowers that act sad and like they are going to die if they don't get water. After I water them they eventually pop back up and look like they are on top of the world. They look happy.
Dogs on the other hand do have their own unique personalities. Some just show more of it than others, like people.

I have three dogs and to assume that any animal does not have a personality is just rediclous. I have 3 dogs and they are all different. My one dog will not lay down for the night and go to sleep if his fan is not turned on and on him. Now if he had no personality this would not matter. My other dog does not like to be outside in the heat ever since we got central air. Some dogs dont like men some dont like children. This is just an insane quesiton I cant believe you really think dogs have no personality

There is a HUGE difference between an animal and a flower. Animals actually do have feelings. They are sad when you are and they are happy to see you when you get home! Yes, they have personalities! If properly cared for they should have great personalities!

Of course dogs have personalities. Good grief, you can see it in their faces. What planet have you been living on? They can be happy, sad, even suffer depression from the loss of a human or other animal they knew. One should ALWAYS give your dog love and care (food and medical) so that dog will feel like its the best dog on earth and they will give you so much unconditional love in return. This is a touchy subject for me...I see way to much abuse and it hurts me as much as the animals. That's not what we were put together on this earth for. We need to take care of the dogs and all animals as our companions, it's simply a no brainer.

Dogs do have personalities, and it has nothing to do with 'responding' to good care. All of my dogs have been raised the same - same rules, etc., and each and every one is different from the other. Dogs feel pain; dogs feel happy; dogs feel lonely; dogs FEEL. And quite frankly - who are you to say whether dogs have a soul or not?

Yes, my dogs have their own separate personalities. My horses and cats do as well.
Animals have souls, I'm not sure where you get the idea that they don't have souls. In the Bible God specifically says that all creatures will be in Heaven.
You're trying to prove a point that doesn't exist.

I know all dogs that I have owned exhibit different personality's. Maybe you haven't observed them very closely. Also to try to compare a dog to a flower is impossible. Good luck. I have a feeling that your are going to get some people upset with you.

Yes they do. They've actually did tests to see if animals can develop their own personality. They did several tests to make sure and every time it was true dogs develop their own personality. They took dogs from same litter, different litter but same type and random types of dogs. then for each group they assigned subjects A) and subject B) each dog/puppy were subjected to different types of care/treatment. they found that even though all subject A were treated the same they had different personality and tolerance. But you don't need test to tell you this.. just look at wolves.. they have different personality, they have to, for their social group to function properly.

I have had dogs my whole life and although we raised each more or less the same way they have all had very different personalities. I think it depends a lot on the intelligence of the dog(s) in question. Maybe you have had stupid dogs or have not been really close to them, but I think its obvious...of course they do!
