If you're the keeper, yes it would, but if you're an everyday person, and it wasn't hungry, probably not. They're fed chicken, beef, horse or mutton, usually from an abattoir (pork is usually not good for them) and injected with vitamins, minerals or medication the lion may need. They're fed in the early evening, most times.

I don't know what they feed lions at the zoo.

if you offered a lion a steak he would probably eat you then the steak for dessert. i think they feed them huge pieces of raw beef :)
