It depends r u giving respect to others u can the nicest person on the face of this earth but still not give respect so dont say that ur not getting respect from us were showing u respect ur just not showing it back.

That's true at times. Not many people deserve the respect despite their status. Respect Is Earned, and if there are people who ask or demand for respect, I will say only this "I Respect Your Rank, But Not Your Character".

Well, some people don't know how to show respect to others, and those are the kind of people that never truly find any happiness. Respect is the foundation to any relationship, and if someone doesn't have it and doesn't know how to show it, they will never be whole. So even though you will meet people who don't know what respect it, just remember you are more fortunate than they are and smile. =]

I know what you mean. I was always told you had to earn respect, but the ones who deserves respect are the ones who get ran over. I respect you though

Well, unfortunately there are enough people out there who don't know how to show even an ounce of respect that it can make things seem a lot worse than they really are. I always say to eliminate the negative and focus on the positive and you'll see that there's a lot more positive out there than negative. Hope you feel better soon!
