Before I ask this question, let me first start with, I'm intelligent, and I'm also the most non-judgemental person you will ever meet. With that said I'm from Texas..Love it here!! But I travel often(at least twice a month for work) And whenever I'm in the northeast or Chicago I get a good assortment of women who want to hear me talk...yes, just talk. I never really notice that I have a soft southern draw. Not a backwoods hillbilly sound, but just a soft southern draw. I'm a gentleman first and foremost, that's just the way I was raised, but is it a slight turn on for some of you to hear this and why?? Thanks for answering.

Cuz it's different then what we usually here. We can sit and listen to you and almost get pulled into your world. Open ranges, vast fields, different smells, sights , cultures.. and sitting next to a country boy helps too. ;)

Many northerners think the southern drawl is charming and innocent. Living in very northern VA, I never think of myself as having a drawl, but I guess it IS the South! I don't hear an accent at all, but when I've gone to NY, cashiers will holler, "Woooo WEE! Where are YOU from??! ALABAMA??!!!" Then they'll call others to crowd around and say, "Twak samoa! Twak samoa!" (Talk some more) I've tried reeeeally hard not to have an accent, but I can't get around saying "y'all" Besides, a southern accent is supposed to make us sound more genteel, anyway, so I don't mind it too much.

I love a soft Southern accent. There's a certain quality to it that shows a caring side or a delicate side. It's hard to explain, but I think it's why a lot of women are so turned on to Matthew McConnaughey. He's not really that attractive but something about the voice and accent turns women on.

Nothing better than sweet nothings in a southern draw. I'm a southern girl so that sweet accent just brings me home Daddy! You could talk to me all night and I'd hang on every word! Just something about it that sweeps me away!

Mike Baby, a Texas drawl makes my blood run hot and my eyes roll back in my head. I don't know what happens after that because then I faint. Pick me up and carry me? Hello Texan. I am homesick. I need Texas. Texas needs Me too.

As a "northerner", it's absolutely a turn on to hear a nice drawl of an accent. (Not a hillbilly twang, however.)
Maybe it's just something different than the boy next door. :)

The Southern accent is adorable but I think southern men are sweet and all so that's the turn on!

We have loved a soft southern drawl since Elvis was singing, and if it's accompanied by a good-looking man, we're mush. Hold onto your manners, and your accent, and let us enjoy ourselves, Tex.

Who doesn't like to hear a sexy voice? Regardless of accent. I don't know why it is, but add a southern drawl to a smooth voice and grrrrrrrr...........I probably would want you to "talk" a couple times.
