How can I get rid of this random music on my computer?

I know that it's some type of virus or something but I have norton and I've scanned my computer but the random music and commercials just keep coming through my speakers even when I don't have anything open! It's really annoying and I can't take it anymore. Someone please tell me how to get rid of it!

You have adware, not a virus. Go to a web site called lavasoft.com and download an application called adaware. Install it on your computer then run the update for adaware to get the latest signature files installed.

Then scan your computer. This should clean it up.
