Here are a few things that you can do:

1. Drink at clubs and lounges - RAIN (PALMS casino) and PURE (Caesar's Palace) are amongst the best two clubs with the best dance floors, decor, and setup. There is also Tao (Venetian) and Tangerine (Treasure Island). You should load up a little on store bought liquor to cut down on the amount of overpriced drinks at clubs.

2. If you're into rides, then the roller coaster at NEWYORK NEWYORK casino is the best roller coaster in Vegas. There is also the Big Shot and INSANITY rides atop of the Stratosphere Casino (with the best views in the city, as good as a helicopter view). Rides are a good way to kill some time and entertain yourself for a while without dropping a wad of cash.

3. Eat at buffets and other great restaurants. Buffets like Bellagio's or Wynn's have trancended the common buffet of stale food. They serve gourmet dishes like Kobe beef and hand made desserts. Great food, good service, clean and fun atmosphere. You'll definately enjoy this. There are also great buffets for cheaper at Monte Carlo and Luxor - great variety and best buffet for your dollar.

4. Watch the sunrise by staying up all night and partying and then seeing the drunks and broke gamblers barely make it back to their hotel rooms in the early morning. It is the quietiest time in Vegas, and a little relaxing. You can really see how Vegas can ruin you for those that you see are completely distraught over losing - but its a good way to keep your sanity while you there, which costs you nothing.

5. Go swimming and treat yourself to a massage. This will be fun. When you get out of the pool, you can feel the heat radiating on your back and your feet will feel warmer than getting out of the pool anywhere else. It feels good, and then getting a massage later will be the perfect way to settle into a fun night. Something about swimming in the heat as the sun is going down in the Vegas desert is relaxing and calming. This will cost little to nothing. Oh yea, it will DEFINATELY be hot enough to get tan in less than 30min, if not burned - so use some sunscreen just to make sure you arent a lobster at the clubs.

6. You can shop at the FORUM in Caesar's Palace or the Passage at the Hollywood Planet Casino. They have the widest selection and the nicest shops. There is, of course, the Las Vegas Premium Outlets just off the strip that any taxi can take you to - good deals there!

7. You can watch the fountains at Bellagio, the Fremont Street Light Show in downtown, and catch a Cirque Du Soleil show (such as KA at MGM Grand or 'O' at Bellagio - those are my favorite). Just enjoy yourself and have fun, dont plan out every little thing.

Lucky you, have fun - wish I was going too. Hope this helps.

Go to Fremont street, there is always some new entertainment there and the light show is to awesome, just keep an eye on your bag. Walk down the strip, the Beligo fountains and the Sirens at Treasure Island, both are free shows that play at regular intervals. Catch a show, any show, but you might want to call ahead they can become expensive and crowded. Take a Gonadal ride with your husband, its no too expensive. Go to Cesar's Palace, they have living sautes, that you can pose with. Mostly Explore the casinos, they all have something to offer other than gambling.

I have been there 15 times and I still have things I have not seen or done it all. Just pick a few and have a good time. You will go back! Bellagio Fountains and Wynn and The Venetian are really must see. In my opinion the clubs are for the people who love themselves more than others. They are too expensive and they are just like the clubs in any of the big cities. Maybe for your third visit, but not your first. Have fun, eat, gamble a little and see a show.

You have a lot of days in Vegas. There is a lot to see but after a while the casinos start to look alike. I'd take a drive to Hoover Dam or do a Grand Canyon trip. See something other than the strip.

Definitly take advantage of the free stuff available to you, foutains, ect. GET PLAYERS CARDS! even if you don't gamble much, may casinos give you free stuff for signing up, and discounts on food, shows, ect. Grab the las vegas magazines when you get there at the airport for ideas. Plus check out the 1/2 price show booths for same day tickets for 1/2 the price. Research what you want to do and make sure you want to do it, because your first time to vegas you can't do everything you want to do. Make plans, but don't expect to stick to them. Good Luck and bring back a lot of free stuff!

Plan to be nocturnal for those few days. LV comes alive after dark.

During the day, tour the hotels (Bellagio, Venecian, etc.).

Wed and Thur nights catch shows...I recommend CDS for at least one of them. There are a gazillion to choose from.

Fri and Sat put your party shoes on and hit the clubs. I recommend Studio 54 (MGM), Pure (Caesers) and body English (Hard Rock)...and get there about an hour prior to open or you'll be old and gray before you get in. When you close them down, head to Empire Ball Room for after hours dancing. Make sure hubby brings a collared shirt, slacks and dress shoes or he won't get into the clubs...they're pretty strict about dress code.

Sunday recooperate!

Have fun!

You are definitely staying at a great hotel! The MGM is fantastic and they have a wonderful Asian/Sushi bar restaurant!! make sure that you see at least one show, preferably a Cirque du Soliel show, stay up all night drinking/gambling/dancing, and visit the Fashion Show mall. It is on the Strip and it is one of the best malls (and I;m from Los Angeles!). Have fun!!!
