i have a 27-28 day cycle my last period was on july 28 when should i be trying to conceive?

Okay, today is cycle day 11 for you. If you have a 27-28 day cycle then you can expect to ovulate on cycle day 13 or 14 each month.
Have sex today (Tuesday), Thursday, Saturday, and Monday. Generally you want to try to have sex before you think you'll ovulate so that the sperm is waiting for the egg when you ovulate. Sperm will generally live about two or three days inside you, and an egg only a day to a day and a half. You have sex a little after uyou think you ovulated just in case you ovulate a day or two later than you think.

8/9 will be day 13. 8/10 will be day 14. based on a 27-28 day cycle, either of these two days would be your ovulation day. My research shows to try 2 days before and day of. I would suggest 8/7 and 8/9 and 8/10. The egg only lives 12-24 hours with 12 being the average, so anything after 8/10 would probably be a miss cuz the egg will be dead by the 11th.

Start Thursday 8-9, every other day until 8-14. This is an estimate in my own calculation.

I would consider starting a basal temp. chart and recording you temps every day. I thought I would ovulate at 14 days, and it turns out I don't ovulate until day 20 and my cycle is 29-30 days. All women are different, read taking charge of your fertility, it has lots of very useful info. Good luck.

every woman cycle is different so their ovulation dates differ. i would recommend you to purchase opk and this will help or start charting so you can tell when you will ovulate based on your bbt and cm. purchase the book taking charge of your fertility. this will get you started on charting and understanding your cycle.

around the 10th but you should be trying now to until the 14
