Age can certainly be a factor with Grape production. Grapevines tend to bear the most fruit between years 5 and 15. And proper pruning is also essential to Grape production. Always remember that new vines do not make fruit. And two year old vines, and older, do not make fruit. Only one year old vines make any Grapes. And even those must be pruned in such a way as to preserve the buds that will make the next season's Grapes. Weather will also be a huge factor that can vary from year to year. See the site below for more information.

you may prune to have a good crop here 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. All laterals could be clipped to go away 2 or 3 buds on each and each alongside the main arm. Clusters of grapes will variety from those buds. no longer doing this could enable the plant to boost dissimilar foliage and vines on the price of growing to be grapes. yet one greater reason the vine isn't producing would be because of the fact it rather is receiving too plenty coloration or no longer adequate food. no count if it rather is healthful looking then the pruning suggestion would sparkling up your difficulty. Pruning is complete in previous due wintry climate or early spring, in basic terms till now budding out. I rather have 3 grape vines. they have not neglected a crop yet.
