Today would be day 2 of my missed period. I am usualy early, never late. I am assuming I am pregnant. took home test yesterday. Line very faint. What could be causing the cramps? Sometimes a discharge..is this normal? There not like period cramps. I have one child and dont remember what I went through with him. It was 7 yrs ago.

it does not matter if the line is faint, it is still positive! Take another test to be sure, but the cramps are normal and they will get worse the next few weeks. If your boobs start getting sore in a week or two and still no period then you know you are pregnant. But of that line was there, but not dark, you are still preggers! If the line came up once then it is not too early to take another test to ease your mind. GOOD LUCK!!!

Congratulations!! A faint line a dark line, it doesn't matter. It's positive.

Some people (not me) complain of "implantation cramps," supposedly the discomfort caused by the fertilized egg embedding itself into the mother's womb.

Have a healthy pregnancy and a happy baby!!

If you are pregnant (and a line is a line) it's your body stretching. It's normal to have light cramps and general uncomfortableness this early.

sometimes you can get cramp when the placenta is being attatched to the uterus. It depends on how far along you are, but slight disomfort and cramps are not uncommon in pregnacy. If it gets worse or if you have bloody discharge, contact your doctor.
