The biggest problem is the "give a man a fish" effect. We continually send money and food over but fail to address the issues of poverty which generally stems from a lack of education. When we go in and teach them simple farming techniques and show locals how to provide health services, we are attacking the problem rather than trying to fix the symptom.

I don’t want anyone contacting me and telling me they don’t agree with me or that my idea is mean to Africans or anything of that sort. I have read a lot of stuff in my life time regarding world politics, and I enjoy history. So if you don’t like what I write, don’t cry to me or anyone else please.
The easiest answer is corruption in the nations.
Africa is a resource rich nation, and development of land s with resources is a no no in world politics.
The second biggest reason that I myself believe is that if a nation is poor and under developed, they will not have the ability to refine and gather natural resources without the assistance of outside help. The best example is Nigeria.
This is where big companies come in and sign whatever contracts they want to strip the land of its natural resources. If the local nation does it, it might be safer, and friendlier to the environment, but they are too poor or corrupt to do it on large scale.
That means if a nation can do anything on its own, they wouldn’t need another nation to come in to gather the oil, refine the oil, mine for the gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, and other minerals.
South Africa and Egypt are the two strongest countries in Africa at this time. They are followed by Nigeria (resource rich) and most Northern countries are well off.
Egypt is powerful because it is supported by the USA with 2 billion in funds each year to support its economy and generous loans and grants from other nations. If you don't know why, that’s because they recognize Israel as a nation (yes that it) 2 Billion for that.
South Africa is powerful not because it has natural resources or other things like that, but because colonials built the economy up and created a system in the nation, before local Africans took power. The colonial whites with all the world connections created the South African economy to what it is today, and I don’t care if that sounds racist. My proof is in all the other failed African nations who did not have a large colonial white base.
This is my theory why Africa is poor, once the resources run out, they will either get smart or build up an economy with limited resources that will grow or become much poorer than what it is now.

It is because it is all one big scam!
No matter how much money you put in there it will be the same out come.
Rich will be richer and poor will still be right where they are now.
The money that is put into helping them out never gets to where it is suppose to go. It is stopped short and put in accounts of the rich that are causing most of the problems to start with.
Just think of it as a big corp. Big money poor will never get anywhere!

It's the old "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life." proverb. Throwing money at Africa is what has been going on instead of trying to set up a system that will sustain the people there.

2 or 3 COUNTRIES ARE OIL RICH AND CORRUPT
fighting, hate, instability, no infrastructure.

Corrupt warlords and politicians who keep the money for themselves. Civil unrest which allows no infastructure or foreign investment. No foreign investment leads to unemployment and dependency on rich nations to provide for them instead of helping them to grow economicaly on their own. AIDS killing off a large percentage of the work force and leaving millions of others sick or in economic debt trying to provide for them.
Also just on a note of the racial comments made I already know you are ignorant and racist but do you believe that white, asian, or latin corrupt leaders don't do the same thing.
And second not all Africans are black. Aside from the millions of Arabs and Berbers in Africa in places like Somalia and Ethopia geneticaly many of the people are closer to white than to blacks. You also can't ignore the millions of Asian and White leaders that have enormous power in many of these countries (not that these groups are the cause of the poverty, but that its not only Black Africans ruining Africa)

Because those in power keep all the money and food for them selves..Each year thousands of pounds of food and clothing is delivered to help them out then it is stolen by the government or rebels..Until they have a good person in power it will never end.
