1st. Liberals - This country is being torn down and devalued by liberals. They are a selfish group of people who do not believe in working for what you obtain. They are steering us towards socialism and they have no problem throwing this country under the bus for their causes.

2nd. Radical Islam - These people have one goal in mind and that is to destroy anyone who choses not to believe the way they do. They have no respect for life and are filled with rage and hate. They will take out anyone, even if you don't mess with them they will take you out.

3rd. The judicial system - This system is truely broken and needs to be reformed. It is not there to make law. There are too many evil Judges and Lawyers who will sell their soul for their power and too many that will use them to gain their own.

My favorite is Stone Cold vs The Rock - Wrestlemania X-Seven. 1. Submission Match: Bret Hart vs Steve Austin – WM 13 These men had been feuding for several months with Bret as the face and Austin as the heel. After this match, the roles of both men had become reversed. This was an incredibly brutal contest which saw Steve suffer a major cut at a time when bleeding was relatively unseen in the wrestling business. Even in a loss, Austin’s performance was so impressive that this match turned Steve Austin into the number one star in the WWF. 2. I-C Title: Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage – WM 3 On the night that the main event featured the most anticipated match ever, these two men stole the show. This match is arguably the greatest in the career of Randy Savage and without a doubt the best match Steamboat had in the WWF. A few months prior to the match, Savage injured Steamboat’s throat by using the ring bell on it. Steamboat came out for revenge and figured the best way to get Savage back was to take his title. 3. WWF Title: Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant – WM 3 This was the most anticipated match in wrestling history. Over 90,000 fans packed the Pontiac Silverdome to witness this event and this match is generally considered one of the events that helped to create the PPV industry. The “undefeated” Andre almost won the match a few seconds into it. The match ended after Hulk body slammed Andre, a move that most fans had never believed was possible to do.

Same answer I gave for your question about the economic problem - our culture. It fits ALL those problems, and more. If we can't change our culture, we will literally disappear - either by being bred out of existance in a few generations, terrorism, war (civil or other), or by divine will.

Individual respect, and individualism as a whole is WAY more important than whatever group you subscribe to. I can respect anyone in particular for what they believe in, weather I agree with it or not. Groups, however, are another story. I can find things to agree with about almost any group, but cannot wholly agree with any of them. So what's the cutoff?

90% is good enough? I think not.
50% - just the men or women then?
25% - just the Bush supporters by poll? (innacurate, but a thought)

This is all a waste if we don't act on it as individuals. Grass roots reform doesn't mean $100 per plate dinners at an event for middle class people, it means loving each other for who we are, and even loving our disagreements, and moreover respecting who we are and who everyone else is. My solution in life works for ME, not necessarily for YOU. We all have to CHOOSE to be who we are without pressures from any of the above questioned influences, and in addition, CHOOSE to allow others to be who they are - and fight the groups that artificially give them more power, with a percentage of a wrong direction.

Careful with the objectivity statement, this is an emotional issue, and math and emotion don't always jive - but in essence, slandering and negativity towards individuals is wrong - just as wrong as an individual giving up their personal choice to be in a group that is, at best, flawed.

Externally,
continued illegal immigration (we cannot support additional illegal immigration due to the outlay for services under our current system),
terrorist attacks (Terrorism anywhere decreases our ability to service. the current threat is radical Islam but that is ever changing),
reliance on diplomacy rather than clear cut military objectives (If we go to war we must win those wars, diplomatic maneuvering just weakens us)
Internally,
the IRS (we cannot survive the continued onslaught on our productivity from the current tax system, neither can we survive the continued control of our business climate by the IRS. We need to go to the FairTax system NOW)
the Federal reserve board and their attitude on raising interest rates to curb inflation (stupid), (what other segment of our economy has gone up 500% in the last 5 years)
and the current population of illegal aliens. (We have become a penal colony for central and south america. The cost of providing health service, education, and the cost of controlling the criminal element in this population is prohibitive.)

Terrorism/national defense

Immigration (maybe this is a subset of 1)

Economics and the growth of government - this can take in a lot of ground. I believe that a government takeover of healthcare, education, etc. can have negative consequences for all. And we have to cut spending. I think if we keep our eye on the ball and government interference and distortion to a minimum, we will do better at solving economic and social problems, not worse.

I'm also concerned about the judiciary, and people's lack of knowledge about their government.

Is that three issues, four, or five? Interesting question!

PS I definitely have my political views, but I agree the flaming and name-calling gets old.

Islamic Fascism - We can't allow these individuals to disrupt and hols us hostage to their cowardly brutality. It's caused us all to lose a little freedom and we need to nail the coffin on these guys.

Taxation - We can't continue to have government spending out of control. Federal, State, County, and city governments need to start displaying some solutions to their runaway spending. Eventually, we will hit a breaking point. Social security is already close to a disaster.

Illegal Immigration - Today our local radio is reporting we have picked up 64 murderers in our sector this year. Everyone continues to think we illegals are harmless people wanting to find work. Nonsense. We need to close our borders.

1-Terrorism...we were attacked in 2001, and there have be several plans that we have thwarted since, but it is just a matter of time.

2-Illegal Immigration..with 10 millon people illegally in this country something needs to be done. Whether we change laws or enforce current ones, I don't know, but something needs to be done.

3-Education...We have too many people not being educated. Being uneducated leads to crime, and low paying jobs, which leads to more crime, and bad neighborhoods, and bad schools, and bad ecuation. You get the point. I don't know if No Child Left Behind is the way to go or not, but love or hate Bush, he atleast tried to actually make a difference in education, that is more than any other recent president can say. Everyone talks the talk, but nobody actually does anything about it.

Obviously terrorism due to Islamic Fascism is a major threat to the United States today and will continue to be threat for a long, but indeterminable amount of time. Our current "two party sytem" is another major threat to the future of this country as there is a serious lack of divergent thought. In my opinion, and from my perspective, standard political thought in this country is to the extreme left of where it was originally intended to be by our Founding Fathers, whose purpose was to create a government of free minded, self sustaining people.

However, the greatest threat to our nation today is the citizenry itself. The average American today does not want to take part in politics, they simply wish to be entertained and continue their daily fixation with their toys. The socialist policies which were put in place by FDR during the depression as a means to ease suffering during a difficult period in our history have created a nanny state where the majority of Americans want to live their lives as children. They want their government to take care of them, provide them with free health care, retirement, and welfare safety nets so they are not personally responsible for their own outcomes. This apathy is exactly why terrorism and the supposed "two party" system are such a threat, because the American people sit back on the political sidelines and wait for someone else to do the work.

It is simply too much work and responsibility to keep up on current events and it is too boring for the average American to participate in political debate in order to cast an informed vote. They simply vote for whichever politician promises them the most freebies.

1. islam - this belief is responsible for the terrorists, for a public Muslim school being opened in New York (What happened to separation of church and state? Taxpayer money was used for this school that has a religious school board!) and tried to stop people from reporting suspicious behavior (the imams on the airplane trying to sue the passengers that reported them).

2. Socialism - which most Democrats and all liberals seem to embrace. It stifles determination, motivation and innovation.

3. Globalization - having to get the ok from other countries to defend ourselves is lunacy. We are losing Made in USA and getting cheap stuff made everywhere else.

Corporate Domination of our Country: There is continued consolidation in the Corporate world into ever larger mega-corporations. No Politician can run for national office without some sort of corporate support it seems. This is a direct threat to our Democracy.

Health Care: We are the only first world nation without Universal healthcare. Enough said.

Illegal Immigration: A threat to our economic wellbeing. Corporations and rich Americans screwing the lower classes by supporting law breakers that undercut wages.
