hi, i would be really greatful if you tell me what do you really think of islam and muslims?. i am an arabian girl, an egyptian one and i am a muslim as well i am not sure that you like us but i want to know how do you feel about us and why??!. and believe me if you think that we are terrorists we are not this is what they tell you in your country but we are not. we just want to be free and have our lands back believe me we never mean to hurt you but you are the ones who took our homes.......hope you understand me......

We are told that Islam/ Muslims want to kill us. Many never gave Muslims/Islam much thought until 9/11 occured. I believe you are just regular people. You mix religion and politics which never has a good outcome. As a woman I really don't appreciate how the women are regarded.. I think you need calm your extremists down. They are causing you as many problems as they are the rest of the world.

Well, some people tend to group all Muslims into this one description of "terrorists", which I think is complete stupidity. You can't judge all Muslims based on the few you see on television. Personally, I think most Muslims that I have met are great people. They AREN'T terrorists. Normal Muslims don't find it a hobby to go around bombing buildings like the twin towers. I should know since I'm Muslim.

Not very highly because after 9/11 there was mostly silence from the Muslim community which leads me to believe that they agreed with the terrorists who killed innocent people in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC. I remember watching people in Arab countries dancing in the streets because of 9/11. What land do you want? I support the state of Israel. They are very small compared to the Arab states. Less than 3% of the land can grow crops as it is all desert, and there is not a drop of oil under it. Why do you want tiny Israel when there are vast wealthy areas in the rest of the Arab world? Did the US take your homes away? So it is very hard to like Muslims in general because I see nothing but hate for anyone who is not a Muslim. Islam to me means hatred of all not Muslim. You asked for honesty and this is honestly how I feel. I have reasons involving my family.

Not sure who you are adressing this to. We are the ones who took your homes? Perhaps you are Palestinian and addressing Israelis? If so, you repeat the mistake many westerners make by lumping all Muslims into one pot and all westerners into another. Muslims live in hundreds of countries, speak hundreds of different languages and have dramatically different customs. Islam as practiced in Malaysia bears little resemblance to the variety you will find in Turkey, which is quite different from that practiced in Morocco.
For my part I think Islam is a beautiful religion and the Koran one of the world's great religious documents. I think Muslims are as various as any other large group of people, but the ones I have met have been fine people. I think it's silly to assume that all Muslims are terrorists or support violence. Most just want to live their lives in peace and take care of their families, just as Christians, Buddhists and Hindus do.

I actualy have no problem with Muslims or Islam. I have had several Muslim friends and met many good people who were Muslims. I think all this violence is just being focused on because a small militant group of fundamentalists have continued to attack the western world. In honesty I don't know why the western world is more focused on these people when comared with several nonreligous and non-Islamic groups that seek to harm westerners.
As for wanting your land back remember that when you talk to Americans you're talking to a people who essentialy got their nation by stealing it from another people. So its sometimes hard for many to sympathize with people n this regard

When you claim we took your homes, it makes us a bit edgy you see. The last time muslims had a similar gripe about America, they took out 3000 citizens. Not all of America is prejudiced against Muslims, but you can understand why some are.

I believe that Islam is Islam. You can not tell the good from the bad.
The good take care of the bad so what is good?
One day there will be a mighty war, Islam against the world.
We are all most there now.
Islam will lose. It will be sad!
It could be differient but Islam will not let it be so!

I believe to each his own. I don't care what religion, race, crede or anything someone is. As long as they don't attempt to push their beliefs or ideals onto me. There are extremist eliments in all religions. As far as what is going on with the extremist muslims and arabs now, all I can say is that the US is reaping the bitter harvest of what it has sewn for decades.

From reading the writings of Muslims, Egyptians, Arabs, I find that they are very much like my own people who are the American Catholic immigrant children of central Europe.

I don't think muslims are terrorists, considering my family is muslim. Although, I completely hate the idea that muslim women think they have to cover their bodies to please god. The Koran never states it, so it looks silly. That's the only flaw I see with the muslim religion.
