"Janet, perhaps inspired by the attention she was receiving as a result of the case, begun to claim that she was being thrown out of bed by unseen hands, and even appeared to be possessed at one point, speaking in a very low, deep voice with considerable use of profanity. After a camera was set up next to her room, footage was taken showing her faking these incidents by jumping around on her bed and flapping her arms. She also confessed at a later point to being able to mimic the 'possessed' voice she was able to make."

Shall I go on?

LOL! There are some paranormalists who have such a devout religious faith in ghosts that they simply MUST believe despite obvious, admitted and documented fraud, such as the kind we have with the Enfield case. It's kind of like still believing that some "orbs" are paranormal when they are all quite explainable as flash reflections, or believing that some crop circles are still paranormal even though it's terribly easy to create them using just boards, rope and a little planning.

As usual on Yahoo (and everywhere else) the skeptics choose to distort information about this case.
The girls did confess to trickery while at the same time saying the investigators always caught them.
This is a well documented and investigated case, it's not perfect though.
I would suggest you read the original case reports and decide for your self.
As many cases of this nature it comes down to do you believe the police, the reporter, the family, and the investigators.

Yes, I have read about this case.

It is pretty obivous to me, and the evidence shows it (the admissions to fakery by the kids) that this was not real.

Some of the claims made in this case were really too bizarre to be believed any way by prudent people. Kind of like some of the famous day care sex abuse cases.

Because so much happened and over quite a long period of time i think it was too much for the girls to make up.

Any such a thing is hard to determine if you're not present.

I think it was made up as it says in the bottom paragraph of the information on it.

It was for real, in the sense that it was real hoax, a real waste of time, and really, really stupid.
