Hate it. Had a lot of business trips there and on average:
The people are slow,
The weather was ok,
Work was terrible (resistance to change),
Nightlife was ok (conservative fathers, easy girls)
Traffic was ok off of I40, terrible on I40 or I77 around Charlotte,
Beaches are good (Duck, OBX, Wilmington).

I like North Carolina, i didn't think the traffic was bad, I stayed in Charlotte, and drove up to see the Baltimore and everyone was very nice. Umm i live in WI toward the Milwaukee and traffic and people are much much worse. I loved the weather not really hot but it never got cold, when in WI, it gets to like -10
