Very delicately... If it's me doing the rejecting. If it's me getting rejected, I try to understand why it happened.. try to see it from the other persons point of view.
I try to remember that every person that ISN'T the right one, gets ya that much closer to the one that is...

Rejection hurts, all of us have been hurt by it. Don't feel there is something wrong with you, but realize that the dating process is a matter of 'selection'--of getting acquainted with other people and then finding out if you match or are suited for each other. Many times rejection simply means there is a difference in goals, interests, or backgrounds. It is normal to feel angry when rejected and your negative feelings are something you need to be aware of. Revenge, which you might consider, is not a good idea. Instead, get out and talk to friends and family members. Everyone is depressed after rejection. Even though it's always easier to remember the bad than the good, try to think of rejection as a learning experience. Besides, it is his loss right? You deserve better !

There is no easy way to deal with rejection, the word alone suggests something uncomfortable. Allow yourself the right to feel bad about it, but only for a brief and fleeting moment. You can examine the reasons that you think the rejection occurred, if its clear and obvious, take steps to avoid these behaviors in the future. If it's not clear, consider the source and accept that the only person you can control is you. Everyone else is responsible for controlling themselves.
You are who you are, no one has the right to judge you or try and change you, but you. You decide if things are gonna happen, don't leave your happiness or selfworth in the hands of someone outside of your family. Give yourself the credit for qualities you posess, and take the rejection as a sign of something thats not ment to be, possibly a saving grace.
Good luck and keep the faith.

After seeing what has happened to guys and how humiliating it must be. I have never asked a girl out. My wife actually asked me out. I don't mind it at all. No, I don't handle rejection well, so I never make passes.

Just think how blessed I am in other areas...they miss out anyway, that is how you really have to look at it...I just brush it off like dust, you know....can't dwell on things that you can't change, even rejection!

In love, it is hard, but one must get back on the trail of life ASAP, by focusing on the future, while learning from the past.
