Yes, it is. I spend every day like it could be the last because it could the last. And I say "I love you" when I leave him in the morning because it may the be last thing I ever say to him. So yes, there is nothing wrong with saying that

Yes I always say I love you and be careful , I love you hope you have a good day, when my partner leaves for work. Is that wrong?

Depends on if you are saying I love you to the check out guy at the grocery store. I hate it when its said to me and there is not meaning behind it. Like everytime you are on the phone and the other end always says it like its the new "goodbye", and they wait for it to be returned. I don't like it to be forced. I wish I could say it more. To me there is more meaning behind it then just words. But I understand that some people need to say it, and thats okay with me.

The simple answer is one word, YES!

But just think if you didn't say ILY as your loved one went out the door one day and would never come back because something happened to them. I would never want that guilt on my concise for the rest of my life.

No. I don't think so. If you say the same thing over and over again, it eventually looses it's meaning. It'd be just like me telling my husband "could you take out the da*n trash already?" See, that's something that I have to say everyday - and it means absolutely nothing to him anymore. He doesn't even hear it. And it definitely doesn't get the da*n trash taken outside. So to answer your question. I don't think so.

Saying it doesn't mean much. They are just words. If you love someone, it's good to say it when you mean it, but it's better to show it with every act.

I've met many men (I'm a crisis counselor in addition to other things) who said, "I only beat her because I love her." That's not what you want in life!

Only if it is towards something that deserves it like a partner, family member, friend, or your "friend" in the nightstand. Otherwise saying it doesn't mean anything.

Unless you Macaroon said it to me. Then it would make this bashful male smile from Chicago to Seattle!
