I'm going to some this up and avoid the excuses on why i did it ext.

I'm 17 years old and my girlfriends parents were buying a house. The land-lord gave them the leese contract. My girlfriends mother signed it and moved to another part of the house, and the father not exactly wanting to commit, convinced me to sign a totally randomized signature because since im 17 theres no way i could get in trouble. The mother found out and now she thinks she might loose the 4000 she put down on the house. I need to know if i can get in any kind of trouble if i was breaking the law. Whats the worst that could happen to me if the mother takes the father to court or something like this?

Lets see:
Forgery - You signed a fake signature to a legal document.
Fraud - You signed this document for the purpose of shielding the father from the legal obligation he agreed to.

You could go to jail. Depending on the total value of the contract the charges could be felonies.

It sounds like a disaster, but you are safe. You could be charged with a few offenses, but the court won't pursue the charges. The parents might be in bigger trouble.
Although you are a felon, you probably won't serve any time, pay fines, or have a felony on your record.

Is there any proof that you signed it? Is it your signature? Did anyone witness you signing it? Was it notarized? If there is no proof, you can just deny ever doing it.
