*Listening to our phone conversations.
*Letting credit card companies run our lives.
*Letting insurance companies screw us over.
*By only allowing the rich to go to college and forcing us into major debt in order to be educated.
*Limiting and not protecting a woman's right to choose.
*Allowing millions of people be jailed in this country, (more than any other country in any other time)
*Sending us to war which bankrupted the country, endangered our troops lives and keeps the focus off of taking care of our country.
*Allowing companies to horribly pollute our country.
*Limiting our right to work by sending our jobs over seas.
*Keeping the minimum wage really low
*By not caring about what the public cares about

every time you buy something you pay a tax.. government there... every time you drive you are on the road built by the government ... when you went to school.. when you get your paycheck.. the government is there as well.... if you need the police or fire department.. there's some more government for you.... other than that.. the government doesn't really intrude on my life at this time.

well.. I say that... considering my dad is a politician and my brother-in-law is a Pakistani Muslim I'm sure my whole family is wire tapped.. :P

Cameras on every street corner and traffic light. Being able to listen to phone conversations, now without a warrant I'm told. The biggest brightest object in the sky is spying on the whole world. Patriot Act.............dah.......... Now, police don't even have to read your rights to you, only if you are questioned. Can arrest without telling you why. Giving my child a number before she left the hospital. Need more................ I"m tired of typing.........................geeeezzzzz

It is not the point that if you are not doing anything wrong you should not worry, the point is in a democracy you cannot give absolute power to a leader or father figure that knows best over the people`s oversight for temporary safety from our fears.
