By involving themselves in areas where they do not belong. They should not be giving states money for roads, schools, bridges, dams or anything else. You can always tell when the federal government is overstepping their authority. They do it with money. How? They give a state a big chunk of money for school lunches. Then they insist that the state adopt a certain curriculum. Now, the federal govenment has no right to tell a state what to teach in its schools. But, the federal government will either increase the money it gives that state or threaten to stop sending money to that state if they refuse.
The federal government does this all the time and it is totally unethical and unconstitutional. Don't get me started about the DEP. This federal mob has wiped their butt with the constitution. The Department of Envronmental Protection even makes laws. They are not part of the Legislative Branch, who the hell are they to make laws? They set fines and restrict land use, too. None of which should be the federal government's job.
They also steal our money. They have no business deducting taxes directly from our pay. But they do it.
If it were up to me, you would receive your full pay all year and have to write a check at the end of the year. That would force people to see how much they take. Then I would switch election day to April 16th. That should take care of that.

Too much taxes. Too many regulations. Oppressive court systems with totalitarian justices like Ginsburg and Breyer.
Ever expanding laws to make up for our lack of personal discipline. In comparison to many other countries, we have little to complain about in these areas. We are very privileged to live in the USA...

Through excessive and convoluted taxation, pork spending, illegal wiretapping, the Patriot Act, controlling and regulating the airwaves, and by passing laws which restrict our rights unjustly.
Taxation and lack of privacy are my biggest complaints. Nothing the government does has benefitted me. Mostly they have stolen what little money I have made and pissed it away, while telling me I am not quite poor enough to benefit from welfare. Minimum wage is pretty poor, in my opinion.

Mainly by stealing our money through taxation, to support thousands of programs that are not the business of government in the first place. Half of the federal budget goes to entitlement programs.

You mean other than taxes and trying to hide stupid things like giving illegal aliens my taxpayer money in the Farm Bill or in the defense spending bills or trying to pass legislation in the back room or in the middle of the night?
