my friend just hit a parked car and didn't leave any information. she told me that she did it but she told her dad that someone else hit her and she didn't see this car that hit her parked car. I told her that she should leave information but she won't listen because she is afraid of what might happen. She left just a little scratch. Could she get into bigtrouble for leaving. could they find her?

No even if someone took a license plate if its just a scratch police wont get involved. it has to be over like 500.00 dollars in my state. The other person if they seen it would be told it would be a civil matter and would have to go to court. whos gonna go through that.

I got sideswiped going down the hiway from a guys mirror got his license plate followed him and called police had a big scratch down the side of my truck. the guy wouldnt stop. and Thats what i was told. if i had known this i would have just followed him til he stopped and beat on his head a little.

although with that being said you should use this just to scare the hell out of her. you know tell her shell go to jail or something. I got it tell her they have cameras at the store.

Tell her to be more careful what comes around goes around.

Yes they can find her, yes she will get in trouble, and now she will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident/hit and run. She could server jail time for this now instead of the couple hundred to fix the car.

It depends if someone witnessed the accident and if someone got her license plate down. If a police report is filed, they will typically track her down, and it would be considered a hit and run.

if their were witnesses in the scene and if they got her license plate number they will find her and if the owners of the other car press charges yeah she is facing huge problems like a hit and run felony

Unless there were any witnesses upon the scene, she can't get into any big trouble for running. The only way they can find her if there were witnesses that took down her license plate number.
